Faith based on words of Jesus Christ

After Christ!

-   That means,  that words of Jesus Christ are the foundation of faith, unity and salvation - Creed of faith.

-   “Jesus answered: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”.  John 14:6;

-    “Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing.  The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life”. John 6:63.

The authority for all Christians - followers of  Christ are His words.  These words no one has to be ashamed of.

After Christ! Means brotherhood in Christ.  That means that everyone has the right to be a disciple of Christ and believe in His word as the Holy Spirit revealed to him, and not as someone else understood.

Mat 23:8-12

“ But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for one is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren.”

“Do not call anyone on earth your father; for one is your Father, he who is in heaven.

“ And do not be called teachers; for one is your Teacher, the Christ.

John 8:31

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are my disciples indeed.”

John 15:8

“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples.”

Therefore Jesus Christ said to his disciples in the past and says it today: “You are the light of the world” Matt. 5:14 - because they are his disciples.

What they had to teach?

Matt. 28:20

“Teaching them to observe all things that I have commended you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Therefore “what I have commanded you” and not whatever you fancy.

It’s also the will of God: - Matt. 17:15 “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.  Hear him!”

Every man for his own good should have enough common sense, to think what to depend on in matters of faith and salvation.

There is Authority loyal to God, who assured the faithful with these words:

John 6:40

“And this is the will of him who sent me that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

John 6:47

“Most assuredly, I say to you, e who believes in me has everlasting life.”

Therefore there is no sense to believe in words, dogmas and doctrines of those who can not say what Jesus Christ said.

John 8:12

“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying: I am the light of the world.  He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

John 10:14

“I am the good shepherd; and I know my sheep, and am known by my own.”

John 15:14-15

“You are my friends if you do whatever I command you.

“No longer do I call you servant, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from my Father I have made known to you.”

Matt. 10:24

“ A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.”

John 14:21

“He who has my commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves me.  And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

“All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and he to whom the Son wills to reveal him”

John 14:1,6

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 7:15-18

“And the Jews marveled, saying: how does this man know letters, never having studied?

Jesus answered them and said: My doctrine is not mine, but his who sent me.

If anyone wants to do his will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on my own authority.

He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.”

Matt. 10:32

“Therefore whoever confesses me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven.”

Matt. 18:19-20

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst of them.”

John 13:34-35

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Instead of love for what has no value.

Matt. 7:12

“Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”

Matt. 6:1-8

“Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.

And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites.  For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men.  Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

But when you pray do not use vain repetitions as they heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

Therefore do not be like them.”

Matt. 5:16

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Apostle Paul preached according to this, that we should not show form of godliness, but its results.

Matt. 6:24,33
